Aug 10th – Meetings Suspended

We won’t be meeting at the Yeldell house this week (Aug 10). The meetings will be “up in the air” from here on out. See e-mail from Robin below…

Hi all,

We won’t be hosting house church tomorrow (8/10). I’m still getting “nudges” from the Lord that its time to end the meetings, at least in the form its taken over the last couple of years. Of course, that is not to say that the house church is necessarily “over”, but for now we won’t be hosting it as we have in the past. Thankfully we have fellowship with all of you beyond our Sunday evening meetings and we can discuss it more as we have time together. Given that our hosting is not a prerequisite of “having house church”, you guys are welcome to continue the meeting as seems good/right to you and the Spirit. We look forward to continuing our walk with all of you as we walk with Jesus. God bless…

Meeting again!! March 30th

Hi all… After a week or two of prayer, reflection, and conversation with you all, we decided to resume the Sunday evening meetings. It will be the usual time (5PM) and format.

Meetings suspended indefinitely…

After a few months of prayer, discussion, and consideration, Caitlin and I have decided to suspend the Moss Farm House Church meetings indefinitely. We have wrestled with this decision for some time and now believe the time has come to gracefully end our meetings. I believe that God had a purpose in bringing us together over the last eighteen months, opening our eyes to His movement among us, deepening our relationships, raising important questions, and challenging us to live for Jesus in more meaningful ways. We’d like to meet one last time, Sunday, March 9^th, to celebrate what God has done in our time together and talk about what He has for our future. We have every expectation to continue our fellowship with all of you yet in different venues. We look forward to meeting with you tomorrow and discussing further. We will meet as usual at 5PM for dinner and fellowship. Hope all of you can make this final meeting. God bless us all at this new turn in our community.
